"You say my name the way butterflies would sound spilling from a rib cage and i haven't shut up about your laugh since last tuesday. I've noticed cigarette packs in your pockets and dandelion fluff in your hair. You don't believe that wishes come true even though your holding hands with someone who thought they would never have a chance. hold it tight the way you hold memories you never want to forget. I've been writing you into poetry again because i'm a sucker for details and somehow you've manage to sneak under my skin and quilt yourself into my veins. How do you stitch someone into forever without them fraying at the edges?. I'm tired of people letting go. the days happy endings only seem to be found in fairytales and novels. it's so easy to write you down but how do i make you stay?" m.r
